The following are Shipping and Return policies for backcountryandbeyond.com.  Please ensure you have the correct retailer prior to contacting us for a return.

 

Shipping Policy

  • Backcountry & Beyond will only ship to the continental United States.
  • Backcountry & Beyond offers Free Shipping on all orders* over $99 for a limited time. Free shipping promotions are subject to change at any given time and do not include oversized items.
  • Certain products* as well as oversized items, are not eligible for free shipping offers and will include an asterisk on the product page and a note saying "available for in-store pick-up only."
  • For all shipping, we will ship via our method of choice.
  • Estimated delivery within 5 - 10 business days. This includes the order processing time and the shipping transit time on orders shipping to the continental US. The delivery times will vary based on the shipping address used on the order. Please provide an accurate street address for the prompt delivery of your order.

*Note: We are not able to ship products from Thermoworks, Maui Jim, and Black Rifle Coffee at this time. We are also unable to ship oversized items such as Traeger grills, YOLO paddleboards, or e-bikes. These lists are subject to change, if you have a question about shipping a specific product, please call the store at 704-380-0285 or email us at help.backbeyond@gmail.com.

ORDER PROCESSING

Excluding any holidays, orders will usually be processed on the next business day after you place your order. If you place an order on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, your order will not be processed until Monday. Some products have longer processing times and may ship from various locations which add additional processing time*. Any shipping transit times are in addition to the order processing times.

The shipping address must match the billing address entered for your purchase, orders with different billing and shipping addresses will not be processed.

*Note: Some items have longer processing times. For example, some YOLO and QuietKat, products may ship directly from the manufacturer. Those items will have a slightly longer processing time. Once those items have shipped from the manufacturer, we will send you a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number for those items. These items may be shipped separately from other items on your order and may arrive in multiple packages.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS, REFUSALS, AND ADDRESS CHANGES

Requests must be made by phone or email. If the item has not been shipped the order will be canceled and the customer refunded. If Backcountry & Beyond has shipped the correct items to the address on order and the order is then canceled, or the item is refused by the customer, all shipping charges to and from the customer will be deducted from the refund. This includes all shipping charges for any items advertising Free Shipping.

INCORRECT ADDRESSES ENTERED

Unfortunately, every carrier charges additional amounts to either redirect or reship packages due to incorrect addresses. If you omit the correct street address, apartment number, PO box, zip code, etc. we have no choice but to pass on the additional charges to you for the additional cost. This can range from $5 to $35 depending upon the region and the reason. Please contact us as soon as possible if you have entered the wrong address on the order.

BACK ORDERS

Despite our best efforts, particularly popular items can sell out and when this is the case, we will inform you of the expected earliest delivery date. Please inform us should you wish to cancel at any time and you will receive a full refund.

Return Policy

Thanks for shopping at Backcountry & Beyond (www.backcountryandbeyond.com). If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help.  If your order is with backcountryandbeyond.com, you should have a 3 or 4 digit order number.  With that number handy, simply contact us via phone 704-380-0285 or email help.backbeyond@gmail.com to receive a return authorization prior to returning an item.

RETURNS

You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in the original packaging.

SHIPPING YOUR RETURN

When returning a package please include your name, original shipping address, phone number and your original order number. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Ship your package using a traceable shipping service (e.g. UPS, FedEx or USPS Priority Mail).

REFUNDS

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment), minus original shipping charge, if any.

SHIPPING ADDRESS

Once you contact us and receive your return authorization, we will provide the proper address for returns.

EXCHANGES

If you would like to exchange an item, you may return your original item(s), and place a new order. We will ship your new order immediately. Follow the return process above, and once we receive and process your return, we will issue a credit, less the original cost of shipping, if any.
